Mouthguards are trimmed according to the particular sport in which the patient is involved with these guidelines (variations are available on request).
- Boxing - Extra high upper and lower to support mandibular sideshift
- Weight Lifting - Short upper and lower
- Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Soccer - High upper, short lower
- Football - High upper, standard lower
- Karate - High upper and lower
- Hockey - High upper - indents lower
Single arch vacuum formed appliances are available for all sports.
Available in the following colors:
- Red, Yellow, Green, Purple, White, Black, Orange, Blue in both positioner materials and vacuum formed laminates.
- The colors are also available in two and three color combinations.
The type of air holes for breathing depend on the characteristics of the individual patient or athlete.
